What you’ll do
We are looking to hire a Software Developer to join our team that supports and develops SAS languages and procedures that provide computational services as part of the server tier of the SAS architecture. You will be working on a core code base primarily written in C that enables customers to access, explore, prepare, analyze, and share data. This role provides opportunities to grow technical depth and system knowledge through mentorship, code reviews, and collaboration with experienced engineers. With customers across the globe, you will have the prospect to work alongside a diverse set of people who share your passion for developing and delivering enterprise-class software.

As a Software Developer,



we are looking for someone who:
- Designs and develops high quality, testable and scalable software solutions within established timelines while adhering to R&D; best practices and processes.
- Collaborates with project stakeholders (e.g. managers, developers, user interface and visual designers, product managers) to ensure implementation satisfies functional requirements and is consistent with established R&D; standards.
- Participates in project planning discussions; tracks progress of individual tasks and alerts stakeholders of issues blocking or preventing completion of tasks.
- Ensures quality through functional, unit and performance testing; works closely with testing by providing thorough reviews of the test plan and communicates when updates to the plan should be made to cover code changes related to enhancements, redesigns and/or bug fixes.
