Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled webMethods Architect to design and lead enterprise integration solutions using IBM webMethods, with a solid focus on B2B/EDI integrations. The role involves defining scalable architectures, enabling partner onboarding,



and ensuring reliable, secure data exchange across enterprise ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Design end-to-end integration solutions using:

webMethods Integration Server, Designer, API Gateway

Trading Networks (B2B/EDI)

Universal Messaging

Lead B2B integration architecture, including:

EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, XML/Flat File)

Partner onboarding, profile setup, and document exchange flows

Communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, HTTPS)

Define canonical data models and mapping strategies for partner integrations

Establish governance, security, and compliance (encryption, certificates, non-repudiation)

Drive API strategy and integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous, event-driven)

Oversee performance tuning, error handling, and monitoring frameworks

Enable CI/CD and automated deployments using webMethods toolchain and DevOps tools
