Role: Key Job responsibilities
- 3-4 years of prior experience in Beauty and Personal Care Manufacturing (e.g., especially
Shampoo, cream, lotion, conditioner etc.).
- Thorough understanding of batch manufacturing process with knowledge of batch making sequence, control points and critical control points.
- Mixing Equipment Knowledge: Well-versed in operating and handling different types of mixers like Universal Mixer & Contra Mixer (Contra-Rotating Mixer)
- Practical experience with cleaning and Disinfection Processes and systems, including of CIP, SIP and COP process
- Understanding of the function of Raw material and mixing process
- Able to follow and record BPR
- Hands on experience of managing process parameters and able to manage process control.
- Thorough knowledge of RM Handling, weighment, dispensing and documentation.
- Understanding of Do’s and Don’t’s of batch Mfg. Process
- Ability to follow the instructions and guidelines to take corrective actions.
- Knowledge of GMP in the area of batch mfg. related processes.
- Able to read and write in English.
Other Job responsibilities
- Maintain daily manufacturing records and ensure there is no bulk downtime.
- Ensure FTIR testing is completed for all batches produced.
- Check the condition of all equipment regularly and promptly report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain WIP stock as per the system and ensure strict waste control.
- Record daily SFG data shift-wise.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional teams including chemists, supervisors, and production staff to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage projects related to innovation and improvement under project management activities.
- Ensure that the Integrated Management System (IMS) conforms to the requirements of the relevant international standards.
- Ensure that all processes consistently deliver their intended outputs.
- Report on the performance of the Integrated Management System and identify opportunities for improvement to top management.
- Promote customer focus throughout the organization.
- Ensure the integrity of the Integrated Management System is maintained when changes are planned or implemented.
- Ensure that the defined procedures and practices of the Integrated Management System are deployed effectively, understood by all personnel involved, and complied with consistently.
- Define performance measures and objectives for the process after discussing with Head of
Department in alignment with Plant KPI.
- Initiate and lead improvement projects related to the process
- Organizing resources so that process runs smoothly on a daily basis, ensuring that business rules are followed. Also ensuring the training of local process participants.
- Ensure that performance objectives of the process are met and corrective actions are taken in case the objectives are not met.
- Provide guidance to process participants on how to resolve exceptions and errors that occur in execution of the process
Education & Experience (Must Have)
• 3 – 4 Years of experience in cosmetics mfg. especially Shampoo, cream, lotion, conditioner etc.
• BSC – Chemistry is prefered
