Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and support recent product development (NPD) initiatives involving rubber, silicone, and polymer-based medical devices.

- Conduct formulation development, material selection, and validation studies for components used in medical applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Marketing to align R&D; efforts with business goals.

- Perform experimental design, prototype development, testing, and data analysis to support product development.

- Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA, and other regulatory guidelines applicable to medical devices.

- Stay updated with material innovations and emerging technologies relevant to the medical and healthcare industry.

- Troubleshoot and improve existing products and processes to enhance performance, safety, and manufacturability.





- Maintain detailed documentation including technical reports, test protocols, and R&D; project records.

- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for sourcing new materials and evaluating their performance.

Required Qualifications:

- Education: B.Tech/M.Tech in Polymer Science, Rubber Technology or related field.

- Experience: 4–7 years of hands-on R&D; experience in the medical device industry with a strong focus on rubber, silicone, and polymer materials.

- Sound knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, and relevant regulatory requirements.

- Experience in material characterization techniques (FTIR, TGA, DSC, Rheology, etc.).

- Familiarity with sterilization methods, biocompatibility testing, and product validation.
