The incumbent will work closely with the M & E team to create robust MIS systems, MEL plans, centralized
database creations, data analysis, and evaluation of design creation for impact studies. Additionally, will also
develop and undertake structured monitoring and evaluation of different projects on a periodic basis under
the guidance of the supervisor.
The role will work alongside the implementation team and drive Strategic Research Design, Data Analysis
and Impact Evaluation and Assessments.
Responsibilities:
Establish the M&E; approach for the projects, including but not limited to:
â Develop and execute a work plan for data capture and reporting against project performance
indicators and emergent project information needs.
â Develop systems and manage regular data quality assessments, data cleaning, and data analysis
â Identify and implement the appropriate information-gathering approach to inform knowledge gaps
that are relevant for project decision-making.
â Conduct field visits to understand the context and identify current areas of investigation
â Design and execute surveys and/or other data-gathering mechanisms for program evaluations.
â Review, analyze, and present findings from monitoring reports and other collected data to identify
insights and suggest approaches to studies and project implementation strategy
â Develop advanced analytical and qualitative reports showcasing the progress and impact of the
programs
â Conduct independent end-to-end evaluations - from large-scale surveys to inform baseline/ annual/
endline assessments, to regular small dipsticks that contribute to adaptive management.
This will involve: study design, instrument formation, conduct the sampling, train and monitor the
enumerators, ensure quality data collection, analysis, and report generation.
