KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage and supervise the quality and lab team for the day to day operations and activities.· Providing needful support for the NPD by establishing the required QC checks and testing of the products for the Verification and Validation purposes.· Vendor assessment & development: Doing the needful inspections, testing (if any) and trials/mock ups for new products and existing products and providing QC feedback report.· Transferring to recent manufacturing practices and processes: Execute the needful inspections, testing (if any) and trials/mock ups and providing QC feedback report with pros and cons.· Ensure 100% incoming inspection for both raw materials and bought out items.· Ensure effective In-process inspection taking place on a daily basis and at a regular interval in a day.



Immediately report the non-conformities to be escalated to concerned stakeholders and the resolution of the same to be done concurrently.· Ensure 100% PDI inspection is done for the scheduled dispatches on a daily basis for both export and domestic.· Regular lab operations to be carried with efficiency and timely like daily tile testing, mock ups, yearly testing of RMs, bought out items etc.· Ensure 100% MTC against every scheduled invoice and upload the same in the milestone on a daily basis.· Conduct third party tests as per international standards.· Raising NCR in case of nonconformance observed in the receipt of goods or in the production line. Timely information to the Suppliers / Procurement / Operations team for Non Conformities.· Resolve the customer complaints following the root cause analysis approach and take corrective actions based on customer complaints received.· Conduct an inter department audit for documentations on a monthly basis either independently or in association with an internal auditor.· Maintain and Improve Integrated Management System ISO9001-2015, ISO14001-2015, ISO45001-2018, IGBC, SGBC and other Quality Improvement tools like 5S, Kanban, Kaizen & 7 QC Tools.

All the calibration and load cells to be up to date.· Maintain & Update Documents: All kinds of Inspection reports,



Test reports, QAPs, SOPs, MOMs, MRM PPTs, Compliance Statements, Audit reports, ISO reports, Customer complaints (TADS), Products TDS, products Tech specs, Material Specifications cum TDC to be maintained up to date and with proper revisions.· ISO9001, EMS 14001 and OHSAS 45001 Documentation.· Take up some Innovative and additional Goals for the enhancement in the working of the QC-Lab.

REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Skills: · Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, callipers and computers.· Ability to do the Visual inspections as per set standards or procedures.· Analytical, logical thought process and meticulous attention to detail· Ability to translate skills and knowledge to others· Problem-solving skills· Team working skills· Strong communication and people skills· Presentation and Independent Mindset· Ability to work in tight deadline pressure· Ability to work on own initiative

Qualification and Experience: · Minimum Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required.· 3+ years’ in quality control or quality assurance position· Site quality inspection and quality inspection at vendor's factory is a plus.· Industry certification a plus.· Willing to travel in Vapi, Daman & Mumbai Locations.
