1. Team Member - Mechanical Maintenance

Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)

This role is primarily responsible for:
- To ensure that all mechanical (static and rotary) equipment, Structure & piping continues to function properly for Cell house and Brine house area.
- To Execute the defined activities by ensuring the quality and safety standards.

Expediting the procurement and services of ordered item for O&M.;

Key Individual Accountabilities

- Work in a team to ensure organizational and operational strategies are executed in a manner that is in alignment with the Department’s Strategic Plan.
- Ensure that plant and equipment runs safely and efficiently with the aim of availability of equipment at all times
- Focus on cost optimization, energy conservations savings and productivity improvement.
- Carrying out maintenance activities under the planned expenses (budgetary control).
- Coordinate & work closely with the internal stake-holders to achieve operational excellence.
- Attend to all kind of breakdowns, failures, malfunctions and carrying out RCA (root cause analysis).
- Ability of evaluate and understands P& ID’s and drawings.
- Fulfillment of all documentation work in adherence to IMS (Integrated Management System).

Technical & Behavioral Skills & Knowledge

- Should have knowledge & exposure of Environment, Health & Safety requirements.





- B.E/B.Tech – Mechanical with experience of 8 to 12 years in medium to large chemical/ similar industries with experience in project.

- Exposure to similar chemical Plant Project would be an added advantage

- Should exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, team management skills.

Key Performance Indicators

Manage smooth project executions and project activity
- Responsible for carrying out maintenance activities of static (piping, valves and tanks etc.) and rotary equipments (Pumps, Compressors, Blowers and Agitators , Coveyors , VAM chillers , Heat exchanges etc.).
- Planning and carrying out scheduled maintenance activities in plant.
- Supervising contractors and technical staff for protected and proper execution of the job.
- Maintain an equipment, parts and supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts and supplies, also to ensure for expediting of purchase requisition of Spares etc.
- Preparation of technical specification sheet of material (as per the material requirement), technical concurrence of material specifications from the vendor.
- Planning, carrying out and keeping records of parameters of condition based monitoring activities in the plant.
