Scope

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer with strong experience in control panel design,

PLC systems, fault diagnosis, wiring harness design, and EPLAN software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems to ensure efficient and safe operation of machines and equipment.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop electrical control panels, wiring layouts, and harness assemblies.

- Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and terminal layouts using EPLAN

- Perform PLC-based control system design, I/O mapping, and panel integration.

- Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting in electrical control systems, PLC programs, and field wiring.

- Select and size of electrical components such as relays, contactors, breakers, fuses, sensors, and cables.

- Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM), cable schedules, and connection lists.

- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of control panels systems at site.

- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in panels, and wiring harnesses.

- Collaborate with mechanical, automation, and production teams to ensure system functionality and reliability.

- Ensure compliance with electrical standards (IEC/IS/UL) and safety protocols





- Maintain proper documentation and revision control of all electrical drawings and PLC configurations.

Required Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8 or equivalent electrical design software.

- Sound knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Mitsubishi / Schneider).

- Hands-on experience in control panel wiring, testing, and commissioning.

- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills in electrical circuits and PLC-controlled systems.

- Good understanding of industrial sensors, actuators, MCCs, and instrumentation.

- Knowledge of electrical safety standards, grounding, and protection systems.

- Ability to interpret P&IDs;, schematics, and technical drawings.

- Solid analytical and communication skills; ability to work both independently and in a team.

Requirements

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.

- 2–4 years in control panel design, PLC automation, or industrial maintenance.

- Experience in machine wiring, harness manufacturing, or automation projects.

- Exposure to SCADA systems or HMI programming is an added advantage.
