Description
Responsibilities
- Performing maintenance and repairs on utility infrastructure, including fixing leaks, replacing components, and troubleshooting problems.
- Conducting regular inspections of utility systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.) to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning.
- Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Maintaining records of maintenance activities, repairs, and any issues encountered.
- Coordinating with other departments, such as facilities management and operations, to schedule repairs and minimize disruptions.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Record Keeping: Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Inventory Management: Keeping track of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Training and Development:
Staying updated on the latest technologies and industry best practices.
- Emergency Response: Responding to emergency situations related to utility systems.
- Working with Contractors: Collaborating with external contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering along with utility maintenance expertise in the manufacturing setting
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills are required for fostering teamwork, enhancing a good working environment, and effectively developing strong working relationships with a diverse group of people.
