In this position of Lab Manager, you will be responsible of managing ATE engineering labs in BLR, with responsibilities in managing and overseeing lab personnel, lab equipments (ATE test cell, other lab equipment), and lab operations. Candidate, in this position, will be responsible for managing and running day-to-day operations at ATE test-floors in Bangalore. Candidate will support operation and maintenance of ATE Test cells (ATE testers, handlers, probers, various bench equipment) to support Operations, Engineering, and RnD departments. The Lab Manager will interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all the processes and methods are in compliance and meet the requirements of the business and customers.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily lab operations, maintenance of equipment, and overseeing lab safety requirements.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify technical gaps & support recent product development activities.
- Install & qualify various functional tester platforms & protocols for engineering & production readiness including:
- Gage R&R;, Industry standard for automotive compliance.
- Establish test libraries, ATE HW performance tracking, etc.
- Establish maintenance / calibration schedules and requirements
- Performing routine maintenance on test equipment and resolve technical issues
- Performing equipment calibrations periodically before equipment is deployed for use
- Establish Test Cell logistics and system requirements.
- Establish requirements / protocols for Test Cell usage and incident tracking.
- Establish appropriate Operator procedures.
- Define and establish lab safety standards and compliance to industry standards.
- Plan and establish work schedules, staffing requirements, production sequences to maximize productivity.
