We are hiring a Design Manager/ Team Lead – Aluminum Category Design for our client, a leader in the fenestration industry. The role involves spearheading product design & development, Innovation, and strategy for aluminum doors and windows, leading a design team, and ensuring compliance with building codes & industry standards. The ideal candidate will be skilled in CAD, prototyping, PLM, and aluminum systems design, with a proven track record in the building materials or architectural systems industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead product design and development for aluminum doors, windows, and building systems.

- Drive design innovation and ensure alignment with market research and customer feedback.

- Oversee CAD design, prototyping, and product lifecycle management (PLM).

- Implement value engineering and cost optimization without compromising aesthetics or quality.

- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with building codes & design standards.

- Manage vendors, suppliers, and contractors for material sourcing and design execution.

- Provide leadership, mentoring, and skill development for the design team.

Desired Candidate Profile





- Bachelor’s / Master’s in Industrial Design, BE/B.Tech ​​​​​​

Experience: 10–20 years (in Product Design / Aluminum Systems / Fenestration /

- Proven expertise in aluminum product design, fenestration, or architectural systems.

- Strong proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and prototyping.

- Experience with PLM tools, material knowledge – aluminum, and building regulations.

- Leadership skills with the ability to drive innovation, collaboration, and market-focused design.
