Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Knowledge of various aggregates used in automotive (Sheet metal, Plastic, Rubber, Electrical, Electronics, Casting and Forging)

- Special emphasis on Electrical and Electronics and exposure to recent technology and trends.
- Knowledge of special process such as plating, welding, PCB technology etc.
- Knowledge of raw material rates, standards and trend across industries.
- Should be able to cost the product based on drawing / circuit input.
- Should establish pricing strategy for Key and Critical components and suppliers to protect Bill Of Material (BOM) costing.
- Knowledge of Taxes (Domestic and Import) must and its impact on Bill Of Material (BOM) costing.
- Develop a team of competent Cost Engineers to generate project Zero Base costing.
- Maintain and Track multiple project's BOM Cost.
- Evaluate and Budget impact on BOM cost due to currency and Commodity inflations.
