As a Deputy General Manager - Technical, you will oversee the procurement, maintenance, and operational efficiency of ground handling (GH) equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will play a key role in managing technical infrastructure across BKJ Airports, coordinating the smooth execution of operations and ensuring readiness for audits and inspections.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement and Operations Management
- Lead the planning, procurement, positioning, commissioning, and maintenance of ground handling (GH) equipment (both indigenous and imported).
- Establish and manage maintenance workshops for GH equipment across major airports.
- Oversee the preparation of SOPs for GH equipment, maintenance schedules, and safety protocols.
- Ensure timely availability of equipment and resources for seamless airport operations.
Project Management
- Fully establish operational frameworks for airport locations, ensuring technical readiness.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams for setting up new company operations at airports.
- Provide technical leadership during audits conducted by client airlines (domestic and international).
Compliance and Audits
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of GH equipment to maintain compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Prepare and maintain safety manuals and regulatory circulars for GH operations.

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Aviation) or a related technical field.
- Certifications in airport operations, GH equipment, or aviation technical systems are preferred.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in technical operations or ground handling, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in setting up and maintaining ground handling infrastructure at multiple airport locations.
