Create and enforce policies and procedures for the recovery department.

Set recovery targets and monitor performance against these targets.

Operational Management

Oversee daily operations of the recovery team to ensure effective collection of overdue accounts.

Assign cases to recovery officers based on their expertise and case complexity.

Monitor progress of recovery efforts and provide guidance to recovery officers.

Ensure all recovery actions comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Management

Liaise with legal teams, external collection agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate recovery processes.

Negotiate repayment plans and settlements with defaulting customers.

Reporting and Analysis

Prepare regular reports on recovery activities and performance metrics for senior management.

Analyze trends in defaults and recoveries to identify opportunities for process improvements.

Team Leadership and Development

Lead and motivate the recovery team to achieve high performance.

Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of recovery officers.
