Qualifications Core Technical Skills 4–8 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Administration Solid knowledge of T‑SQL, indexing, performance tuning Experience managing hybrid SQL environments (On‑prem + Azure) Working knowledge of Azure SQL Database and Managed Instance Experience with Always On Availability Groups Solid understanding of backup, restore, and disaster recovery concepts Azure &

- Cloud (Must Have) Familiarity with Azure portal operations for SQL workloads Understanding of IaaS vs PaaS SQL offerings in Azure Working knowledge of Azure monitoring and alerting tools Good to Have Manage PostgreSQL and MySQL databases Familiarity of backup solutions - like Commvault, RSV, etc.
