Database Administration Engineer

Work Experience: 5 years relevant experience

Educational Qualifications: BE/BTech

Job Profile:

The position involves

- High Level designing of database system

- Should be able to do technical design reviews and suggest changes to existing product for building high volume/ highly scalable applications

- Perform routine maintenance, backup and recovery of production databases.

- Should be able to setup and manage data warehouse

- Readiness to handle 24*7 support calls

Technical Skills:

4+ years of relevant experience in PostGreSQL/Oracle DBA, RAC

- Knowledge on setting up and managing data warehouse

- Experience in PGSQL/Oracle RAC installation and configuration and production support

- Experience in Backup & recovery, performance & tuning, High Availability, etc

- Experience in DB replication and failover management.

- Experience in multiple operating systems, Linux a plus

- Must have good knowledge of Query tuning and optimization of DB for the high volume

- Must have positive knowledge of vertical and horizontal scalability

- AWS RDS knowledge
