We are looking for an exceptional Data Scientist to lead our Business Intelligence team.

The Business Intelligence team at this US based medical business company wishes to create a robust data analytics program for us and external partners.

As a Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in personalizing our product experience and building data-driven solutions to optimize our business success. This role will give you the opportunity to work with stakeholders, partners, and engineers to build high-

quality data products for strategic initiatives and opportunities.

Minimum bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years professional experience as a software developer.

Worked with western clients & businesses and previous travels are added advantage.

● Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage company data to drive solutions and outcomes such as customer experience, website conversion, revenue generation, and others.

● Work with the team in vetting and integrating external data sources that could improve our products.

● For ad hoc initiatives, analyze large data sets for actionable insights, trends,

and patterns.

● Apply data science techniques such as machine learning, statistical modeling,

and artificial intelligence.

● Work with Product Development teams to take new data concepts and translate those into functional requirements of report visuals that will be implemented in our Business Intelligence reporting tool.





● Become the subject matter expert in how our product data science product works.

What we are looking for

● Familiarity with Data Science fundamentals and statistics.

● Ability to work with internal stakeholders to collect feedback, prioritize tasks,

and manage the engineering backlog.

● Experience using ML/AI models

● Robust analytical skills and ability to evangelize the use of data for sound decision making across functions.

● Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate with,

and influence cross-functional partners.

● Self-motivated, self-directed, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment in an industry that constantly changes.

● Organized with a knack for managing complex projects.

● Creative and resourceful when it comes to problem-solving.

● A passionate can-do attitude. You are not afraid to try, learn, and improve.

● Advanced proficiency with SQL/MySQL, Python, and big data technologies.

● Experience working as an engineer in big data, machine learning, or data science.

● Experience working with business intelligence/data visualization tools such as

QlikSense, PowerBI, Tableau, IBM Cognos, Domo, etc.

● Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) for software development is a plus

● Experience working and leading a geographically dispersed team is a plus.

This is a permanent role with remote working and requires working on the West Coast time zone from 5:00 PM IST to 1:30 AM IST Monday to Friday.
