About the Role

1. Design, develop, and implement data integration workflows using Informatica PowerCenter or other Informatica products.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and project managers to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and data integration workflows.
- Build and maintain ETL mappings, workflows, and transformations to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems.
- Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation activities to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, data mappings, and process flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, data quality, and system performance.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of existing Informatica workflows to improve system efficiency and throughput.
- Stay updated with the latest Informatica technologies, best practices, and industry trends, and apply them to enhance data integration processes.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.

Experience & Education:



4 - 6 years of experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Strong understanding of data integration concepts, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles.
- Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter, including experience with transformations, mappings, workflows, and scheduling.
- Create various active and passive transformations to support voluminous loading of data target table using Informatica PowerCenter
- Good knowledge on data warehouse and schemas.
- Experience with data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation techniques.
- Solid SQL and database skills, with proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
- Familiarity with data modeling and database design concepts.
- Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex data-related issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Informatica certification(s) will be a plus.
- Optional or additional skills:

1. Other ETL tools like SSIS, AWS Glue, Pyspark
2. Programming languages like Python etc
3. Functional knowledge in ERP and especially supply chain industry relevant.
