Data Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our growing analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, BI tools, and scripting(Python / AppScript), and will play a crucial role in deriving actionable insights from large volumes of structured and unstructured data. This role involves collaborating across business teams to drive strategic decisions through data.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights

 Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.

 Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) using SQL, Python, PySpark .

 Support A/B testing design, execution, and analysis for product/marketing initiatives.

Reporting & Visualization

 Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using quicksight, or Looker.

 Create calculated fields, parameters, and custom visualizations in BI tools.

 Automate recurring reports to improve efficiency.

 Optimize dashboard efficiency.

Data Extraction & Processing (ETL)

 Write and optimize complex SQL queries (joins, subqueries, window functions)

across databases (MySQL, BigQuery).

 Extract, clean, and transform data from structured/unstructured sources.





 Implement and maintain data quality checks at each stage of the ETL process to ensure accuracy and consistency across reports.

 Optimize query performance.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

 Partner with business teams (travel) to define KPIs and deliver data-driven solutions.

 Present findings to stakeholders in a transparent, actionable manner.

 Identify and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with engineering teams.

 Optimize query performance and dashboard efficiency.

Data Analyst

Technical Skills Required

Core Tools & Languages

 SQL: Advanced querying (joins, subqueries, CTEs), performance tuning, and optimization.

 BI Tools: Quicksight, or Looker (calculated fields, parameters, dashboard design).

 Spreadsheets: Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, Google Apps

Script).

 Programming: Python/PySpark (for data cleaning, manipulation, and basic automation).

Databases & Warehousing

 SQL Databases: MySQL(Preferred).

 NoSQL (Nice-to-have): DynamoDB.

 Cloud Data Warehouses: BigQuery.

 Cloud Services: S3,Athena,RDS

Bonus Skills

 Cloud Platforms: AWS (S3, Glue), GCP.

Nice-to-Have:

 Domain experience (e.g., Travel, Leisure).

 Knowledge of data modelling

 Scripting automation (Python/PySpark).
