What awaits you/ Job Profile
- Develop high-fidelity battery pack models for crash and safety analysis.
- Perform debugging and simulation of battery-level and full vehicle crash scenarios using LS-DYNA.
- Analyse and post-process key performance indicators (KPIs) related to battery crashworthiness.
- Conduct component-level simulations for battery packs and individual cells.
- Identify safety issues and apply a problem-solving approach to develop effective countermeasures.
What should you bring along
- Strong experience in full vehicle crash and safety analysis, with a deep understanding of vehicle-level behaviour
- Hands-on experience working on high-speed dynamic load cases, including frontal, side, and rear impact simulations
- Proven experience in the development of electric (EV) or plug-in hybrid (PHEV) vehicle architectures
- Expertise in LS-DYNA, including model setup, integration, connections, and debugging of full vehicle simulations
- Sound knowledge of battery systems, high-voltage components, and their integration in vehicle structures
- Experience in CAE correlation with physical testing, ensuring accuracy and validation of simulation results

LS-Dyna, Ansa, Animator, Crashworthiness & safety
Valuable to have Technical skills
Meta Post, Primer, SPDM tools e.g. CB2, Strong cross-cultural communication skills, Scripting & automation
