Role Overview

We are looking for a Cloud PaaS Administrator with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure to manage and optimize our Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) infrastructure. This role requires hands-on experience with Azure services, automation, security, and monitoring, with a minimal focus on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

PaaS Administration & Optimization

· Manage and maintain Azure PaaS services such as App Services, Azure SQL, Functions, Kubernetes Service (AKS), Logic Apps, and API Management.

· Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of PaaS-based workloads.

· Optimize cost management and resource utilization across Azure subscriptions.

Deployment & Automation

· Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.

· Automate provisioning, scaling, and deployments using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or PowerShell.

· Work closely with DevOps and application teams to enable CI/CD pipelines for PaaS services.

Security & Compliance

· Enforce Azure security best practices, including Managed Identity, RBAC, Key Vault, and Defender for Cloud.

· Ensure compliance with governance policies, monitor security posture, and mitigate vulnerabilities.

Monitoring & Incident Management

· Set up and manage Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for proactive monitoring.

· Troubleshoot and resolve PaaS-related incidents,



optimizing performance and availability.

Collaboration & Documentation

· Work closely with application teams, cloud architects, and security engineers to support Azure-based solutions.

· Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, policies, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Skills & Experience:

· 5+ years of experience in Cloud Administration, with a primary focus on Azure PaaS services.

· Strong knowledge of Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Functions, Kubernetes (AKS), and API Management.

· Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.

· Proficiency in automation & scripting using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.

· Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Actions for deployment automation.

· Understanding of Azure Security & Compliance best practices (RBAC, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud).

· Solid troubleshooting and performance optimization skills for PaaS-based applications.

· Familiarity with AWS (optional), but Azure expertise is the priority.

Preferred Certifications (Good to Have, Not Mandatory):

· Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)

· Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305)

· Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
