This position is responsible for supervising the construction of wind turbine foundations at the project site.

The Civil

Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring the timely and quality completion of foundation works, adhering to safety regulations and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise all aspects of foundation construction, including excavation, shoring, reinforcement, and concrete pouring.

- Ensure adherence to approved construction drawings and specifications.

- Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship.

- Conduct regular inspections of foundation construction activities to identify and address any deviations from the plan.

- Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy of dimensions, elevations, and concrete strength.

- Perform concrete tests and document results.

- Enforce strict safety protocols and procedures at the construction site.

- Conduct daily safety inspections and identify potential hazards.

- Investigate and report any safety incidents.

- Ensure the use of appropriate safety equipment by all personnel.

- Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and labourers involved in foundation construction.

- Ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment to the site.

- Monitor and control construction costs.

- Maintain effective communication with the Site Engineer, Project Manager, and other stakeholders.

- Report progress, issues, and concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner.





- Maintain accurate records of all foundation construction activities, including daily reports, inspection reports, and material delivery records.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

- 2+ years of experience in civil construction, with a strong preference for experience in wind energy projects.

- Proven experience in supervising foundation construction activities.

- Knowledge of concrete technology, soil mechanics, and construction safety.

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills:

- Experience with specific construction equipment and machinery.

- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
