Position Title: Chemical Production Supervisor

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Chemical Production Supervisor to oversee the production operations at our chemical manufacturing facility in Haryana. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and improving the chemical production process, ensuring the safety and efficiency of operations, and meeting product quality standards. The role requires strong knowledge of chemical processes, team management, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Supervision:

- Oversee daily chemical production operations, ensuring efficient and safe production.
- Monitor production equipment, systems, and processes to ensure optimal performance and quality.
- Implement and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines.

Process Optimization:

- Analyze and optimize production processes for increased productivity, reduced waste, and improved quality.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide solutions to maintain continuous production flow.

Safety & Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and health standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain records in compliance with regulatory bodies.
- Organize and conduct safety training sessions for the production team.

Quality Control:

- Ensure that the final product meets all quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor chemical compositions, temperatures, and other production parameters to maintain product consistency.
- Implement corrective measures when production issues arise to minimize defects.

Team Management:

- Lead and supervise production staff,



ensuring proper training, performance, and motivation.
- Schedule and manage shifts, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times.
- Foster a cooperative work environment to ensure high team morale and productivity.

Inventory & Materials Management:

- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure availability of raw materials for production.
- Manage raw material inventory to prevent shortages and optimize usage.

Reporting & Documentation:

- Maintain production records, including batch reports, material usage, and production logs.
- Prepare regular performance and production reports for senior management.
- Document any incidents, issues, or improvements in the production process.

Continuous Improvement:

- Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new procedures and systems.
- Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies to improve production efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.

Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical production, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in chemical manufacturing processes, particularly in industries like petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, or specialty chemicals.

Skills:

- Robust understanding of chemical production processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process optimization.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software.
