Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Basic Engineering

- Preliminary System Design

- Finalization of Technical Concept/ Plant Layout/Flowsheet/Mass Flow Diagram

- Capacity Computations

- Checking of Preliminary Layouts/ Flowsheets/GA Drawings, etc)

- Procurement (Main Machinery & Auxiliaries)

- Main Machinery & Auxiliaries

- Tender Documents

- Tender Evaluation

- Purchase Negotiations & Recommendation

- Inspection, Supplier Coordination & Interfacing, Followup

- Auxiliaries

- Tender Documents

- Tender Evaluation

- Purchase Negotiations & Recommendation

- Inspection, Supplier Coordination & Interfacing, Followup

- Detailed Engineering

- Assimilation of Load Data

- Computations for Conveying Equipment/ Fans/ Ducts/ Chutes/ Venting/ Piping/ Pollution Control Equipment/ Services, etc

- Checking of Final Layout/ Flowsheets/ GAs & Vendor Drawings/ Fabrication Drawings

- Concurrence Checking of Civil/ Electrical Drawings, etc
