Job Title: Business Development Manager - Lithium-ion Battery (Electric Vehicles)
Position Overview
The Business Development Manager for Lithium-ion Battery will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion within the electric vehicle OEM sector, specifically focusing on Delhi NCR.
This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with 2W, 3W, and E-Rickshaw customers,
creating and executing business plans, and managing the entire sales process from customer mapping to post-sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and target electric vehicle OEMs in the North India region.
Develop and implement strategies for expanding the lithium-ion battery business.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with 2W, 3W, and E-Rickshaw customers.
Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Business Planning
Prepare comprehensive business plans to achieve sales and growth targets.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
RFQ Generation
Generate Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents from potential customers.
Collect all necessary information, including Statement of Requirements (SOR) and drawings.
Product Feasibility
Collaborate with the technology team to assess product feasibility.
Prepare techno-commercial proposals for customers.
Negotiations and Acquisitions
Negotiate terms and conditions with customers.
Secure Letters of Intent (LOI) and acquire current customers.
Prototype Sampling and Trials
Coordinate the development and delivery of prototype battery samples.
Oversee trial installations and ensure customer satisfaction.
Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Support:
Collaborate with the sales and service teams to provide pre-sales and post-sales support.
Address customer inquiries and issues promptly.
