Position Title: Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed analysis of airline message feeds (PNR, TKT, INV, SKD, etc.) to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

- Troubleshoot issues related to data feeds and work closely with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Project Management, Implementation, Migration, and Development).

- Gather business requirements from Product Owners, Product Managers, customers, and account managers, and assess the scope of work.

- Document product specifications, data models, functional and non-functional requirements, and API specifications using UML diagrams.

- Independently explore the system, uncover unknown facts, and document them for future reference.

- Perform project management roles for specific product functionality, coordinating efforts across technical teams.

- Lead root cause analysis for functional issues and provide insights to Engineering and Business teams.

- Mentor other Business Analysts in the team, sharing functional knowledge of processes and end-user products.

- Ensure alignment with secure development life cycle and application architecture principles.

- Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, flexibility, and a sense of ownership towards team objectives.





- Stay curious and continuously learn about the airline industry to drive innovation.

Requirements

- 7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

- Proven experience in troubleshooting data feeds and delivering product specifications, data modeling, functional/non-functional requirements, and API specifications.

- Knowledge of application architecture principles and secure development life cycle.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer focus and flexibility.

- Strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and passion for excellence.

Good to Have

- Experience in the airline domain.

- Knowledge of EDIFACT and Protobuf formats.

- Experience working in a SAFe model.

- Basic knowledge of API, XML, and JSON formats.
