Job Title: Assistant Manager – Sales (Bike & Automotive Accessories)

Reporting Structure: Field-based role — reporting to office/outlet required only for sales meetups; not a daily office-reporting position

Position Summary

Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the two-wheeler tyres, riding gear, and lifestyle accessories space (part of a diversified industrial group), is looking for an Assistant Manager – Sales to drive dealer/distributor development and sales growth in the bike accessories segment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Channel Development

- Manage and develop dealers and distributors (Channel Sales)
- Must have hands-on experience onboarding new dealers and distributors — this is a core requirement
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the assigned location
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the dealer network

Market Analysis & Competitive Benchmarking

- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
- Benchmark competition and provide actionable insights

Customer & Dealer Relationship Management

- Build and maintain robust relationships with key dealers and distributors
- Address dealer/customer needs and resolve issues promptly

Sales Performance & Reporting





- Track sales performance and generate regular reports
- Identify gaps and develop corrective action plans to meet targets

Promotions & Brand Visibility

- Plan and execute BTL marketing activities — exhibitions, retailer meets, dealership events
- Organize promotional campaigns, training sessions, and local riding events

Product Knowledge & Training

- Stay updated on the latest bike accessories, riding gear, and market trends
- Train dealership staff and partners on product features and benefits

Skills & Competencies

- Strong channel/dealer sales background with proven onboarding experience
- Market expansion and dealer network development
- Customer/dealer relationship management
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Event management and BTL marketing exposure
- Target-driven and resourceful

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in automobile/bike accessories sector
- Maximum age: 53 years

Additional Requirements

- Regional language proficiency is mandatory
- Candidate must currently reside in the same city as the job location
