We are excited to announce an opening for an Assistant Manager - Pricing in Ocean Exports. This role is crucial for managing the pricing and quotation process, serving as the key contact for the client's pricing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain competitive internal tariffs for major carriers across key trade lanes.
- Explore opportunities to secure long-term rate contracts with major carriers.
- Drive new business through competitive pricing and enhance existing business through effective carrier and procurement management.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with carriers to secure the best pricing, capacity, and equipment.
- Optimize sales and profitability through strategic pricing.
- Review and improve contractual terms and procurement strategies to enhance net margins.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics,



Commerce, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-7 years of experience with a reputed freight forwarder, including at least 3 years in Ocean Exports Pricing.
- Proven experience handling pricing for at least 200 containers per month.

Skills & Requirements:

- Strong decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Experience with Freehand business pricing for a minimum of 200 containers per month.
- Excellent connections and relationships with carriers.
- Knowledge of Service Contracts for US business and the ability to negotiate long-term agreements for non-US business.
- Proficiency in data gathering, interpretation, and analytical problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
