Responsibilities

Anaplan Solution Architect

Role Overview

The Anaplan Solution Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable Anaplan solutions that support enterprise planning and decision-making. This role works closely with business stakeholders, model builders, and IT teams to translate business requirements into efficient and sustainable Anaplan models.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Architecture

- Design end-to-end Anaplan solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices
- Define model architecture, data integrations, security framework, and scalability considerations
- Ensure adherence to Anaplan DISCO methodology (Data, Input, System, Calculation, Output)

2. Model Development & Optimization

- Guide and review model building activities
- Ensure models are optimized for performance, usability, and maintainability
- Conduct model audits and implement performance tuning

3. Stakeholder Engagement

- Collaborate with business users (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, HR) to understand requirements
- Translate functional requirements into technical solutions




- Conduct workshops and solution demonstrations

4. Integration & Data Management

- Design and oversee integrations with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), data warehouses, and other systems
- Work with ETL tools and APIs for data ingestion and export
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and reconciliation

5. Governance & Best Practices

- Establish model governance, version control, and deployment processes
- Ensure compliance with Anaplan best practices and standards
- Mentor model builders and junior team members

6. Testing & Deployment

- Define testing strategy (unit, integration, UAT)
- Support deployment and production rollouts
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production

7. Continuous Improvement

- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
- Stay updated with new Anaplan features and platform enhancements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

- Solid expertise in Anaplan model building and architecture
- Deep understanding of:
- Anaplan Hyperblock technology
- ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)
- Data hubs and spoke models

- Experience with data integration tools (Informatica, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.)
- Knowledge of SQL, APIs, and data modeling concepts

Certifications

- Anaplan Certified:
- Solution Architect (preferred/required)
- Master Anaplanner (highly desirable)

Qualifications

Education : ME/MTech/BE/BTech/MCA/BCA/MSC/BSC with min of 6+ Years of relevant experience.
