The Field Agent is responsible for collecting, recording and uploading data for artworks and other objects under consideration into the ASIGN database. Field Agents will be working on-site at art galleries, artist studios and other collection locations including public and private institutions and spaces, and will be working closely with art collections in various mediums. Attention to detail, accurate and efficient management of tasks and familiarity with handling art are a must for this role.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities, Museum Studies, Applied Art or related field

- Strong communication skills, with written and verbal proficiency in English

- Knowledge of at least one vernacular Indian language is ideal

- Competency using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint

Essential Experience:

- 1-3 years of work experience

- Prior experience in working in the arts and culture sector

- Prior experience working for a structured company

- Prior experience with data collection or database management experience
