Anaplan Level 3 Developer – Modeling & Integrations

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Anaplan Level 3 Developer with deep expertise in model building, performance optimization, and enterprise integrations. The role requires hands-on ownership of complex Anaplan models, data hubs, and integrations while working closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable Connected Planning solutions across FP&A;, Supply Chain, Workforce, and Sales Planning domains.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain complex Anaplan models following The Anaplan Way and PLANUAL best practices

- Develop and manage multi-dimensional models, including Time, Versions, Lists, Hierarchies (balanced & ragged), and Line Item Subsets

- Implement Data Hub architectures and spoke models ensuring data consistency and performance

- Optimize models for performance, sparsity management, calculation efficiency, and scalability

- Design and implement Anaplan integrations using:
- Anaplan Connect

- REST APIs

- CloudWorks

- Flat files / SFTP

- Integrate Anaplan with upstream/downstream systems such as ERP, Data Warehouses, and other EPM tools

- Support L2/L3 production issues, root cause analysis, and performance tuning

- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into robust Anaplan designs

- Contribute to code reviews, model governance, documentation, and best practices

- Mentor junior Anaplan developers and support knowledge transition activities





Mandatory Skills & Experience

Anaplan Core

- Strong hands-on experience in Anaplan Level 3 Model Building

- Expertise in
- Module design & formula optimization

- Versions, Time Ranges, and selective application

- UX Pages, Dashboards, Actions, and Processes

- Experience implementing Optimizer models and complex planning logic

Integrations

- Proven experience in designing and managing Anaplan integrations

- Hands-on with REST APIs, Anaplan Connect, CloudWorks, and automated data loads

- Solid understanding of data synchronization, reconciliation, and error handling

- Strong SQL knowledge (Oracle / MS SQL) for data validation and reconciliation

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (facts, dimensions, SCDs)

- Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models

Data & Technical Skills:

- Strong SQL knowledge (Oracle / MS SQL) for data validation and reconciliation

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (facts, dimensions, SCDs)

- Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models

- Exposure to CI/CD, version control, and release management practices

- Experience in FP&A;, Supply Chain, Workforce, or Sales Planning use cases

- Exposure to Polaris, Advanced UX, or CoE models

- Prior experience in customer-facing delivery roles

- Anaplan Level 3 Certification completed or in progress

- Experience Level

- 5–8+ years of overall experience

- 3+ years of hands-on Anaplan development, including modeling and integrations
