Role Overview
The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring all finishing works required for completion of core and shell activities in high-rise construction projects. The role involves overseeing blockwork, plastering, putty works, and other associated finishing activities, ensuring execution in line with project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
The candidate will work closely with tower execution teams, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure productive execution and timely completion of finishing works.
Key Responsibilities
Finishing Works Planning
- Plan and manage finishing activities for high-rise construction projects.
- Prepare execution plans for blockwork, plastering, putty works, and related finishing tasks.
- Align finishing activities with overall project construction schedules.
Execution Management
- Oversee execution of blockwork, internal and external plastering, putty works, and other core finishing works.
- Ensure finishing works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of finishing milestones.
Subcontractor Management
- Manage and coordinate finishing subcontractors and labour teams.
- Ensure proper deployment of manpower, materials, and tools for finishing activities.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and productivity.
Coordination with Execution Teams
- Coordinate with Tower Incharges, Civil Execution Engineers, and planning teams for smooth finishing operations.
- Ensure proper handover of structural work areas for finishing activities.
- Resolve site challenges related to finishing execution and sequencing.
