Data Analyst - Data Analytics and Accounting Automation

We seek a highly motivated Accountant or Candidates Practicing Articleship with a keen interest in data analytics and a passion for working on accounting automation and AI in accounting. The ideal candidate should have a knack for the latest technologies together with sound knowledge of accounts, GST, Companies Act, Tax and other statutory laws. We are looking for a creative individual who is willing to explore unconventional paths to enhance accounting practices and drive innovation.

Responsibilities:

Data Analytics

- Apply data analytics techniques to analyze financial data, identify patterns, and derive meaningful insights.
- Develop data-driven strategies to optimize financial processes, improve decision-making, and enhance business performance.

Accounting Automation and AI:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation and AI implementation opportunities in accounting processes.
- Design and develop automated workflows and systems to streamline accounting operations, reduce errors, and increase efficiency.
- Stay updated with emerging accounting automation and AI technologies, and proactively explore their potential applications.
- Technological Integration:
- Identify and evaluate accounting software, tools, and technologies to enhance financial reporting, analysis, and management.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and integrate accounting systems,



ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Research and Innovation:

- Stay informed about industry trends, advancements, and best practices in accounting, data analytics, and automation.
- Conduct research and experiments to explore unconventional approaches and innovative solutions to accounting challenges.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and implement changes to optimize accounting operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Should have learnt Tableau or Power BI (Mandatory)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST regulations, Companies Act, and other relevant statutory laws.
- Proficient in data analysis techniques and tools, such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization software.
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of automation tools, AI technologies, and their application in accounting is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to recent technologies and methodologies.
