Position: Accountant

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Mali / Africa

Experience Requirement: 8 to 10+ Years

Notice Period: Immediate Joiner/ 20 Days Max

Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily accounting operations, including verification and recording of purchase/sales invoices and journal entries.
- Manage accounts receivables, ensuring timely collections and reconciliations with customers.
- Control accounts payables, working closely with the Purchase Team for timely supplier reconciliations.
- Prepare, verify, and authenticate accounting and MIS reports.
- Submit monthly profitability and balance sheet reports.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth completion of accounting transactions.
- Prepare detailed reports for production, sales, purchases, inventory, and financial transactions.
- Handle tax and compliance reports in accordance with Mali laws and manage legal agreements.
- Collaborate with local consultants for compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate stock records.




- Manage daily cash transactions and prepare cash flow and funds flow statements.
- Oversee customs and BIVAC processes for import shipments.
- Handle day-to-day banking activities.
- Monitor and manage working capital and control capital expenditures.
- Supervise financial aspects of plant/warehouse operations.
- Prepare costings for imports and products to be sold.
- Adhere to miscellaneous tasks as assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

- Robust accounting background.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Financial analysis and reporting expertise.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance, especially in Mali.
- Experience in managing legal agreements.
- Accurate record-keeping abilities.
- Proficiency in cash management and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with import processes, customs, and BIVAC.
- Banking knowledge and financial management skills.
- Working capital management capabilities.
- Supervision experience in a financial context.
