Key Responsibilities

- Project Accounting & Cost Control: Track direct and indirect project expenses (labor, materials, and overhead) against established budgets, proactively identifying potential cost overruns. [1]

- Contract & Vendor Management: Review and process purchase orders, subcontractor invoices, and consultant payment requests while tracking retainage and change orders. [1, 2]

- Financial Reporting: Generate comprehensive daily, monthly, and annual financial reports, including work-in-progress (WIP) and budget variance analyses for management and stakeholders. [1, 2]

- Cash Flow Management: Prepare financial forecasts, monitor liquidity, and process loan draws or milestone-based billings to sustain operations through long project cycles. [1, 2,

- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure all financial activities meet statutory regulations, taxation laws, and Government Accounting Standards when working on public infrastructure projects. [1]

Required Qualifications

- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. [1, 2]

- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in corporate accounting, specifically dealing with construction project accounting or infrastructure development. [1, 2, 3]

- Technical Skills: Solid proficiency in advanced Excel and industry-standard ERP/accounting software (such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Sage). [1, 2, 3]
