JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for recording and reporting transport costs, analyzing expenses, preparing

P&L; statements, ensuring compliance, collaborating with the Transport Manager, providing financial insights, planning budgets, maintaining records, and assisting in closing processes.

Job Duties

- Record and report all transport-related costs.

- Analyse transport expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.

- Prepare detailed reports on transport costs for management review.

- Prepare and maintain P&L; statements.

- Analyse financial performance and provide management insights.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

- Collaborate with the Transport Manager to gather necessary financial data.

- Provide financial insights to support transport operations.

- Assist in budget planning and forecasting for transport costs.





- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

Required Qualification & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Proven experience in transport cost reporting and P&L; statements. - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ensure timely recording/reporting of transport costs, analyze expenses for savings, prepare P&L; statements, comply with regulations, collaborate with the Transport Manager, provide financial insights, plan budgets, maintain records, and assist in closing processes.
