We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support overall financial management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally or similar platforms and a robust understanding of accounting principles and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update general ledger accounts, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Responsible for Capex accounting, including asset capitalisation, CWIP management, depreciation working, and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register in compliance with company policies.
Manage accounts payable and receivable cycles
Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns on time
Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes
Prepare financial reports, including P&L;, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors during audits
Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
Track inventory, purchase orders, and vendor payments through ERP systems
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
5+ years of relevant accounting experience
Proficiency in Tally, or similar.
Strong understanding of Indian taxation (GST, TDS, etc.)
Good command of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
