Expectations and Tasks:
- 7+ years of experience in ABAP development, especially ABAP OO.
- Responsible for the design, development, testing, and support of project module components.
- Work on relatively complex problems, using standard programming concepts and principles.
- Collaborate as a fully contributing team member under broad supervision/guidance.
- Be self-motivated, a team player, a quick learner, and willing to go beyond expectations to deliver high-quality products.
Education, Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors/Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Strong programming background in ABAP/ABAP OO.
- Excellent technical skills in:
- ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) modelling
- RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming)
- OData
- Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Fiori
- Extensibility
- API development
- Experience with RAP: Design and implement new RAP features using ABAP.
- Knowledge of ABAP Unit Testing.
- Exposure to Agile Development Methodologies like Scrum.
- Experience or functional knowledge in S/4HANA Service/CS/PM is desirable.
- Exposure to all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with customer-facing experience being a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced and changing business environment. Flexibility and adaptability are essential for success in this role.
