Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Node.js and AWS Developer with strong hands-on expertise in building and maintaining scalable, cloud-native microservices. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern AWS services, along with a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, databases, and agile development practices.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize cloud-based applications that power critical business processes in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable microservices using Node.js, AWS Lambda, and API Gateway (or React AWS).

- Write clean, productive, and reusable code following best practices in JavaScript and TypeScript.

- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle — from requirements analysis to deployment.

- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure reliability and efficiency.

- Work with AWS services such as S3, ECS, Lambda, Glue, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, IAM, and Athena.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins/Bamboo, and automation tools.

- Ensure high-quality documentation of design, code, and deployment processes.

- Contribute to code reviews and agile ceremonies (stand ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-performance cloud solutions.





Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

- 5–8 years of hands-on development experience in Node.js with JavaScript and TypeScript.

- Strong experience with AWS cloud services (S3, Lambda, ECS, Glue, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, IAM, Athena).

- Solid understanding of RDBMS, SQL queries, joins, and stored procedures.

- Proficient in CI/CD, build automation tools like Git, Jenkins, or Bamboo.

- Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks such as JEST.

- Familiarity with Bitbucket, GitHub, Jira, Splunk, and PostgreSQL is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to thrive in an Agile/Scrum environment.

- Investment Management domain knowledge is an added advantage.
