Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on Lead Data Engineer to own and manage the data backbone of our platform.

This role is responsible for building and maintaining reliable, secure, and scalable data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and enabling accurate reconciliation and financial workflows across the system.

You will ensure that data moves safely, consistently, and reliably across integrations, services, and internal systems.

What You’ll Do:

- Design, build, and maintain ETL and data pipelines across the platform

- Ensure reliability, accuracy, and integrity of all data flows

- Maintain 99.99% uptime and operational reliability of pipelines





- Manage reconciliation flows and ensure financial data consistency

- Monitor, debug, and resolve data failures and inconsistencies

- Expand and maintain integration data pipelines

- Optimize performance and scalability of data processing systems

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for pipeline health

- Ensure data security and safe handling practices

What We’re Looking For:

Must Have:

- 5+ years experience in data engineering or backend data systems

- Experience working in a SaaS product environment

- Strong experience with ETL pipelines and data workflows

- Experience ensuring data reliability and fault tolerance

- Strong debugging and problem-solving ability

- Ability to work independently and take ownership

Strong Plus:

- Fintech or financial systems experience

- Experience with reconciliation or financial data flows

Good to Have:

- Experience working with unified APIs or integration platforms

- Experience with event-driven or real-time data processing systems

- Backend & APIs: Xano, Cloudflare Workers, Render

- Internal tooling & UI: Retool

- Data & integrations: Nango, Cloudfare Workers
