Role Description
The PCB Assembly Technician (SMD Soldering and BOM) is a full-time, role based in the Pune Division, with some flexibility for work from home as project needs allow. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling PCBs using SMD soldering techniques, following BOMs and assembly drawings, and preparing boards for testing and integration. The technician will handle components, operate basic tools and equipment, inspect assemblies for defects, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.



Collaboration with engineers and production staff to resolve assembly issues, maintain accurate documentation, and support continuous improvement in assembly processes is also part of the role.

Qualifications
- Strong hands-on skills with hand tools and power tools used in electronic and mechanical assembly.
- Proficiency in 0402 SMD and through-hole soldering, including rework and fine-pitch components.
- Experience with mechanical assembly of electronic products, including enclosure fitting and hardware installation.
- Knowledge of quality control practices, including visual inspection, handel the BOM, and compliance with assembly standards.
- Ability to read and interpret PCB layouts, schematics, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
- Attention to detail, steady hand–eye coordination, and commitment to protected working practices.
- Prior experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, or related field is preferred.
