Role Overview

The Gallery Manager will be responsible for the overall functioning and representation of Nature Morte’s Mumbai space. This role combines exhibition management, client servicing, team supervision, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be an organized, confident,



and art-aware individual who can independently manage the gallery’s day-to-day activities while aligning with the broader strategic goals of Nature Morte.

Key Responsibilities

Gallery Operations & Administration
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Mumbai gallery, ensuring the space is always visitor-ready.
- Coordinate with the Delhi team for artwork logistics, display, maintenance, and documentation.
- Oversee gallery upkeep, security, and facility management.

Exhibition Management
- Plan and execute exhibitions in coordination with the curatorial and design teams.
- Manage timelines for installs/deinstalls, artwork transport, and vendor coordination.
- Supervise artwork condition reporting and storage.

Client & Visitor Engagement
- Welcome and engage visitors, collectors, curators, and other stakeholders.
- Represent the gallery at openings, talks, and events; assist with client viewings and queries.
