We are looking for a Site Execution Engineer – Electrical to supervise and execute electrical works at solar power plant and EPC project sites. The role will be responsible for ensuring secure, quality, and timely execution of electrical installations, coordinating with contractors and cross-functional teams, and supporting testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in solar plant electrical systems, AC/DC installation, cable laying and termination, inverter installation, earthing, electrical testing, and site coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution & Supervision

- Supervise and execute electrical works including DC stringing, inverter installation, ACDB/DCDB erection, cable laying, cable termination, and earthing.
- Ensure all electrical activities are executed as per approved drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), technical specifications, and site instructions.
- Monitor daily site activities and ensure effective deployment of manpower, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure work fronts are available and activities are completed according to project schedules.

Electrical Installation & Testing

- Supervise DC and AC electrical installations for solar power plants.
- Perform and document electrical tests including:
- Insulation Resistance (IR) testing
- Continuity testing
- Polarity testing
- Earthing resistance testing
- Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Coordinate with inverter OEM teams during installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Identify and resolve site-level electrical installation issues.

Coordination & Interface Management

- Coordinate with Civil, QA/QC, EHS, and other project teams for smooth execution of electrical works.




- Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and site personnel to resolve execution issues.
- Liaise with equipment OEMs and vendors as required.
- Communicate work progress, site constraints, material requirements, and technical issues to senior engineers.

Quality & Safety

- Ensure electrical works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable requirements.
- Inspect completed electrical installations and identify quality deviations.
- Report and support closure of non-conformances.
- Follow and enforce electrical safety procedures and site EHS requirements.
- Ensure proper PPE usage and safe working practices at all times.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions and potential electrical hazards.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

- Monitor daily electrical construction activities and work progress.
- Prepare and maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPRs).
- Track manpower deployment, productivity, material availability, and work completion.
- Provide regular updates to senior engineers and project management.
- Highlight site constraints, delays, and resource requirements proactively.

Material & Documentation

- Assist in monitoring receipt, inspection, storage, and usage of electrical materials at site.
- Ensure materials are properly handled and utilized to minimize damage and wastage.
- Support preparation and updating of as-built drawings.




- Maintain electrical test records, inspection records, and handover documentation.
- Ensure required site documentation is maintained accurately.

Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–4 years of relevant site experience in electrical construction or execution.
- Experience in solar power plants, renewable energy, or EPC projects is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with AC and DC electrical systems.
- Experience with electrical installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Ability to work effectively in site-based project environments.
