Team Leader – Personal Loan Sales

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Team Leader – Personal Loan Sales to lead and manage our personal loan sales team. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, achieving targets, guiding the team, and developing effective strategies to generate and convert personal loan leads.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, supervise, and motivate the Personal Loan Sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Set daily and monthly sales targets and monitor individual and team performance.
- Generate and convert personal loan leads through various sales channels.
- Guide team members throughout the customer acquisition and loan application process.
- Ensure proper follow-up with prospective customers and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Identify customer requirements and guide the team in offering suitable personal loan solutions.
- Monitor lead conversion, application status, approvals, and disbursements.
- Coach team members on sales techniques, customer handling, and product knowledge.
- Review sales performance regularly and take corrective actions to improve productivity.




- Coordinate with internal teams and lending partners to ensure smooth processing of loan applications.
- Maintain accurate sales reports and provide regular performance updates to management.
- Ensure that the team follows company policies, processes, and responsible sales practices.

Requirements

- 3–5 years of experience in Personal Loan Sales or Retail Lending.
- Prior experience in a Team Leader / Sales Team Lead role is preferred.
- Solid understanding of personal loan products, eligibility, documentation, and sales processes.
- Proven ability to achieve and drive sales targets through a team.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to recruit, train, motivate, and manage sales executives.
- Good knowledge of local market and lead-generation practices.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and digital sales tools.
- Graduate degree in any discipline preferred.
