We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Associate to join the Project Finance & Consulting team in our Advisory practice. Cohn Reznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Cohn Reznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a Cohn Reznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings. YOUR TEAM. This position will support our PFC team. We are seeking detail-oriented and experienced individuals to join our team. This role is part of a consulting team focused on various industry expertise in optimizing financial structures to support strategic projects and investments. This includes complex financial modeling and structuring for tax credit driven project financing. WHY COHNREZNICK? YOUR ROLE. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Innovative Financial Modeling: Financial modeling using team accounting and finance tools and methodologies related to real estate transactions to help clients optimize the ownership and investment in real estate projects. This role requires creation of financial models that utilize new techniques, data sources, or methodologies to analyze complex financial situations, often going beyond traditional modeling approaches by incorporating advanced features like machine learning, data analytics, or scenario simulations to provide more nuanced and insightful results for decision-making. Transaction Value Creation: The process of generating added value for both parties involved in a transaction, essentially creating a "win-win" scenario. It is about maximizing the overall value derived from a transaction rather than just focusing on the immediate exchange of goods or services. Tax Credit Strategies: Monitoring requirements and filing obligations for current tax credits while at the same time looking for opportunities for new tax credits to expand the incentive portfolio This role assists clients with modeling both the economic and tax components of transactions with a focus on accounting for and tracking of project operations and rate of return on investment YOUR EXPERIENCE. The successful candidate will have: Qualified CA freshers/ CFA with 2-3+ years of experience in Financial Modeling Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.



Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities. Proficiency in MS Office (specifically, MS Excel) Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively well in a team environment. Strong organizational skills and the capability to prioritize multiple client projects effectively. Keen attention to detail.
