Hiring: Team Lead – Quality Controller | Location: Mumbai
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the Quality Control function for Commercial Operations. The role ensures accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance across the loan lifecycle, covering Document Verification Unit (DVU), Loan Maintenance Team (LMT), Document Management Team (DMT), and Transaction Monitoring Unit (TMU).
The incumbent will drive governance, strengthen operational controls, reduce risk, and improve process efficiency through robust QC frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and institutionalize QC frameworks across pre-disbursement, disbursement, and post-disbursement processes
Design risk-based sampling methods and quality checklists aligned with sanction terms, credit approvals, and legal requirements
Conduct QC reviews of documentation, loan disbursement, limit loading, and system entries
Validate fees, accounting accuracy, collateral documentation, and security compliance
Lead audit management including RCA, CAPA, and closure of observations
Drive process standardization through SOPs, controls, and governance frameworks
Lead and mentor QC team, define KPIs, and conduct training on policies and audit expectations
Key Skills & Competencies
Solid knowledge of working capital products and loan lifecycle




Understanding of legal documentation and collateral processes
Experience with systems like Finacle, workflow tools, and exposure/limit systems
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities
Proven leadership and team management experience
Eligibility Criteria
Experience: 10–15 years in CAD / Commercial Ops / Credit Ops
QC / Audit / Risk experience: 3–5 years preferred
Education: Graduate (MBA / CA / CFA preferred)
