In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective purchasing strategies, building strong supplier relationships, collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams, and ensuring cost-effective procurement of high-quality goods and services.This position demands a professional who understands the nuances of interior project timelines , custom requirements, and vendor management. You will work closely with project managers, designers, and site teams to meet procurement needs across various projects.As a key member of the operations team, the Purchase / Procurement Manager will drive process improvements, support organizational goals, and oversee the day-to-day activities of the procurement team.Key Responsibilities1) Implement, and manage robust procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.2) Oversee daily procurement operations and provide leadership, direction, and support to the purchasing team.3) Manage supplier/vendor relationships, including selection, onboarding, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.4) Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., inventory, finance, operations, production) to assess and fulfill procurement needs.5) Monitor and maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, supplier databases, and reports.6)



Ensure all purchases meet quality standards, compliance requirements, and budgetary guidelines.7) Forecast demand and manage inventory levels in coordination with the inventory control team.8) Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.9) Prepare cost estimates, manage procurement budgets, and track key metrics for continuous improvement10) Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods/services to support operational efficiency.11) Support and lead the implementation of procurement tools, systems, and automation to enhance process effectiveness.12) Mentor, train, and evaluate purchasing staff to ensure high performance and development.Requirements & Qualifications1) Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.2) Candidate should be from Interior Designing & Furniture Industry only.3) Proven experience (10+ years) in a procurement or purchasing managerial role.4) Solid knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and procurement best practices.5) Experience with ERP systems and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or similar).6) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).7) Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.8) Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical abilities.9) Ability to work independently and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment10) Certification in procurement/supply chain (e.g., CPM, CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.Interested candidates must connect us on [email protected] or call us on +91 (phone hidden)
