At Lemon Yellow, design decisions are grounded in user needs, business goals, and a solid commitment to meaningful, impactful experiences.Role Description The Senior UI Designer (LY-CR11) will lead the creation of intuitive, visually compelling user interfaces for web and mobile products. This full-time, on-site role in Mumbai involves translating business and user requirements into wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs, while ensuring consistency with brand and design systems. The person in this role will collaborate closely with UX designers, researchers, developers, and stakeholders to refine flows, interactions, and layouts based on feedback and usability insights. Responsibilities include owning end-to-end UI design for key projects, preparing developer-ready assets and specifications, and mentoring junior designers on visual design standards and best practices. The Senior UI Designer will also contribute to design reviews,



help evolve the design language, and ensure that all interfaces support user delight and accessibility.QualificationsStrong User Interface Design skills with a focus on layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and design systems.Proficiency in Visual Design and Mockups, including creating wireframes, style guides, and high-fidelity screens using modern design tools.Solid understanding of User Experience (UX) principles and the ability to collaborate with UX teams on flows, information architecture, and interaction patterns.Working knowledge of Front-End Development concepts (e.g., responsive design, HTML/CSS basics) to communicate effectively with engineering teams.Several years of experience in UI or product design, ideally in a digital agency or product-focused environment.Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end interface design for web and/or mobile applications.Ability to present and defend design decisions using data, research, and design best practices.Experience mentoring or guiding other designers and contributing to design processes or systems.Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design principles.Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
