We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Accountant to lead and oversee client engagements, manage team members, and ensure high-quality service delivery in GST, financial reporting, and compliance matters. The ideal candidate will bring robust technical expertise, leadership skills, and a client-focused approach.
Senior Accountant with 5–6 years of experience , strictly in a CA firm environment.
Note: Candidates with only industry or corporate experience will not be considered.
Recent and relevant experience with a CA firm is mandatory.
Key Expertise Required:
1. GST & Indirect Taxation
End-to-end handling of GST compliance, advisory, and litigation support
Review and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3 B, annual returns, reconciliations, etc.)
GST audits, assessments, notices, and departmental representations
Advisory on GST structuring, input tax credit optimization, and compliance planning
Keeping clients updated on changes in GST laws and implications

Financial Reporting & Compliance
Finalization of financial statements (including consolidation) as per applicable accounting standards;
Preparation and review of MIS reports and financial analysis;
Expert knowledge in tax audits;
Ensuring compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and other regulatory requirements
Positive knowledge of Indian GAAP (Accounting Standards)
Liaising with auditors, bankers, and regulatory authorities
3. Team Leadership & Management
Supervision, mentoring, and review of work performed by team members;
Allocation of assignments and ensuring timely completion;
Quality control and review of deliverables before submission
Training team members on GST and financial reporting updates
Building a collaborative and performance-driven team environment
4. Client Relationship Management
Acting as a key point of contact for assigned clients
Providing proactive advisory and business insights
Managing multiple client engagements simultaneously
Ensuring client satisfaction and retention
Required Skills & Qualifications
Senior Accountant (CA drop outs)
5-6 years+ of relevant experience in a CA firm
Strong expertise in GST laws and compliance
Excellent knowledge of financial statements
Excellent Knowledge of Direct Taxes, payroll, FEMA, Corporate laws, and taxation
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho, Computax, Genius etc.) and MS Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Leadership ability with experience in managing teams
Candidates who have completed CA Intermediate and subsequently chosen not to continue with CA Final are encouraged to apply and will be prioritized.
