Role: Chief Manager - IS Audit

CTC: Up to 35 LPA (Including 12% Variable)
Purpose of the Job
The incumbent will be responsible for conducting/ monitoring Information Systems audit for the bank.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute Information Systems (IS) audits using a Risk-Based Audit Approach across applications, infrastructure, and IT processes.
Support the preparation of the annual IS Audit Plan and strategy in line with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Conduct IT application audits, infrastructure audits, vendor onsite/offsite audits, and reviews of third-party services supporting critical business functions.
Monitor and ensure timely closure of Audit Tracking Reports (ATR) and audit observations.
Provide periodic updates on planned versus completed audits and highlight key changes to the audit plan.
Coordinate and oversee work performed by external IS audit partners to ensure quality and timely execution.
Promote the use of Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) to improve audit effectiveness and efficiency.
Support Internal Audit initiatives and participate in special projects as required.




Key Skills & Competencies
Robust understanding of the Information Systems Audit Universe, including applications, data, infrastructure, and people/process controls.
Knowledge of IT Governance, IT Operations, IT Outsourcing, Application Security, Change Management, Logical Access Controls, Data Center Controls, and BCP/DR frameworks.
Experience in pre- and post-implementation reviews, application control assessments, and data migration audits.
Good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to Information Technology, Information Security, and IS Audit within the banking sector.
Ability to evaluate IT risks, control deficiencies, and their impact on business operations.
Understanding of fraud risk indicators and associated control mechanisms.
Strong knowledge of IS controls, auditing standards, and leading industry practices.
Preferred Background
10–12 years of experience in IS Audit, IT Audit, Information Security, or Internal Audit within Banks, Financial Services organizations, or reputed consulting firms.
